Business Development Manager
Montreal, QC, Canada

You are a tenacious, business-savvy, and a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced and demanding environment. You have a proven track record using optimal prospecting strategies to generate business leads, open doors, and manage business opportunities.

iperceptions is looking for a results-driven and highly analytical Business Development Manager, responsible for generating new leads and build opportunities for expansion within North-America. The role is based in Montreal downtown, at our headquarters.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a business plan to uncover and maximize potential leads;
  • Uncovering new clients through prospecting and business development activities;
  • Identifying business leads, analyzing their potential, prioritizing the contact activities and executing all the business-related tasks;
  • Generating leads through researching the market, cultivating your personal network, emailing, cold calling, and leaveraging social networking;
  • Maintaining close contact with consultants, external professionals and associations to identify and develop business leads through referrals;
  • Identifying decision makers and scheduling meetings for the Account Executive team;
  • Working with Management to develop sales/marketing strategies and to penetrate new markets;
  • Researching, analyzing and understanding competitors and trends.

You have:

  • +5 years experience in business development;
  • Any experience background in technology, marketing or research is a strong asset;
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and promote products and services;
  • Strong ability to influence decision-makers and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs;
  • Good use of insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process;
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, an asset;
  • Ability to speak French, an asset;
  • Ability to travel to the US, once every few months.

Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer
Montreal, QC, Canada

You are a self-starter and tenacious team player with a charismatic personality and excellent issue resolution abilities who enjoys working in a pre-sales role. You have a proven track record of selling services as part of a solution, with a strong technical interest, and exceptional communication skills.

iperceptions is looking for a sale and business-driven Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, responsible for developing and positioning solutions involving iperceptions’ products and services to create expansion within North-America. The role is based in Montreal downtown, at our headquarters.

You will be responsible for:

  • All of the technical aspects of the sale and being involved in the product roadmap;
  • Maintaining expert knowledge of the iperceptions offering, from software to services;
  • Articulating and demonstrating iperceptions’ software solutions and services, influencing customers’ technical requirements, and positioning products relative to competition;
  • Confirming that iperceptions’ products and solutions meet the prospect’s requirements and assisting sales in technical qualifications;
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and conference call discussions explaining solutions to customers and prospects;
  • Working with customers and analysts to assess product and research needs and to determine solution requirements;
  • Planning solution modifications and configurations to meet customer needs;
  • Recommending features and new user stories for product development;
  • Helping in researching and developing new solutions.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Sales, Software Architecture;
  • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills;
  • Strong listening and question based selling skills;
  • Ability to travel as necessary;
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite;
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, an asset;
  • Basic knowledge of Tableau Software, an asset.

Product Owner
Montreal, QC, Canada

You are a detail-oriented and resourceful product owner with a high capacity of developing and reaching toward a vision of what the products could become. You have great written communication skills and are able to learn quickly. You have natural leadership and aim naturally to improve your team.

iperceptions is looking for a creative, analytical and quality-oriented Product Owner, responsible for building and maintaining our various products. This is a temporary position for about 15 months and is based at our downtown Montreal headquarters. The contract could be extended or converted to a permanent position.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the delivery of quality software products on time;
  • Serving as a quality assurance coach within the development group, to obtain products of high quality and ensuring they are designed according to their operationality and features desired;
  • Acting as a link between the different internal stakeholders for our various products, the CTO and the development group;
  • Doing the transposition of the visions of the different internal stakeholders (including the CTO) into product features;
  • Documenting the product features (user stories, backlog grooming, etc.);
  • Managing timesheets for tasks related to products;
  • Preparing the technical documentation for R&D credit.

You have:

  • Five (5) years of experience in the delivery of quality products, direct experience with product ownership is preferred;
  • Experience with QA best practices, Platform operability and DevOps;
  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalence;
  • Mastery of the English language with superior written English skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps or equivalent, an asset;
  • Willingness to learn and educate yourself on the landscape we operate in.
