iperceptions Platform Achieves HITRUST CSF® Certification

iperceptions has always been strongly committed to the security and protection of our clients’ information and that of their survey respondents. Today’s news is, again, proof of that.

Information security is increasingly becoming top of mind for all of us as consumers, and understandably so. Unfortunately, with security and data breaches making the news on a seemingly regular basis, the public’s trust in how organizations handle their personal data is often in question. In their 2017 US Protect.me Survey, PwC uncovered a number of notable findings, including how:

  • 69 percent of consumers believe companies are vulnerable to hacks and cyberattacks
  • Only 25 percent of consumers believe most companies handle their sensitive personal data responsibly

No industry or sector is immune to cyberattacks or data breaches, but there is perhaps no industry that has been affected as often as Healthcare, with 142 Healthcare data breaches being reported in Q2 2018 alone. Considering the sensitive nature of the information involved, healthcare organizations, and the third-party organizations with whom they partner, must take it upon themselves to crank up their security efforts to help alleviate some of their clients’ concerns.

To meet these needs, the HITRUST Alliance introduced the HITRUST CSF® (Common Security Framework). This framework combines a number of industry-defined regulations, standards and frameworks that guide organizations towards meeting the rigid challenges and compliance requirements for the Healthcare sector. Specifically, to ensure the safe and secure management of Protected Health Information.

 

Today, we are proud to announce that iperceptions has received HITRUST CSF® certification for information security by HITRUST.

 

This certification validates our continued efforts to protect the sensitive information of our clients and that of their survey respondents, including their customer feedback. As a leading Customer Experience Management (CEM) solution provider, we understand the important role of customer feedback in helping Customer Experience (CX) professionals shape great experiences across the customer journey.
