Mazda’s Canadian Web Site Takes The Checkered Flag

Montreal, Quebec – March 26, 2002 – When it comes to satisfying the needs of its web site users,
iPerceptions Inc. of Montreal has confirmed that Mazda Canada is right on track. 

Highlights of a webValidator study deployed on (www.mazda.ca.) confirm visitors like what they see with over 72% of the 2,000 plus respondents
indicating they are satisfied with the overall site. Potential buyers showed a
high degree of satisfaction with the site’s relevancy and clarity and most important,
Mazda owners displayed great interest in the site by responding at twice the average
response rate. As well, their high ratings for referrals and return visits are
indicative of their loyalty and commitment towards the site and the brand.

"We are most encouraged by the high level of owner response we received", said
Gregory Young Director, Corporate Public Relations for Mazda Canada. "One of the
key objectives of the site is to build loyalty and the webValidator study confirmed
a great number of visitors to the site are Mazda owners. In fact, 93% of the owner
respondents took the time to answer additional questions about features and services
they would like to see. As well, the study confirmed the site continues to enhance
the Mazda brand image with both owners and prospective buyers".

and enhance the content and features offered at the site as well as provide a
benchmark for tracking our web user’s level of satisfaction in the months ahead,"
