iPerceptions Reports Second Quarter 2009 Financial Results

Leading Voice of Customer Analytics Provider Announces Revenue of $1.1M in the Second Quarter of 2009 Totaling $2.4M for the First Six Months of 2009, a 16% Growth Year to Date Over the Prior Year

Montreal, QC – (Marketwire – August 19, 2009 – iPerceptions Inc. (TSX-V: IPE), a leading provider of web-focused Voice of Customer analytics, today reported its financial results for its second quarter of 2009.

Highlights for the second quarter of 2009 include:

• The addition of multiple high-profile corporations to its customer portfolio, as well as a number of renewals significantly increasing orders over the second quarter of 2008.
• The continued growth of 4Q, iPerceptions’ simple and free survey tool.

Business development

iPerceptions added numerous high-profile corporations to its customer portfolio of its webValidator solution in Q2 2009, including Cineplex, Harman International and Steelcase. The Company also renewed annual contracts with high profile clients such as LG North America, Monster Worldwide and Volkswagen Canada, as well as increase its scope of work with existing clients such as Autodesk and Points.com.

4Q development

The 4Q survey user base continued to expand in Q2 2009, as over 1.1 million 4Q surveys were taken, 17% more than in the previous quarter. The number of new 4Q survey subscribers grew by 12% sequentially, helped by a new linking campaign on the closing screen of each 4Q survey that invites the respondent to sign-up and create an account for his/her own website.

Second quarter financial highlights

iPerceptions delivered the following results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009:

Revenue and gross margin: For the second quarter of 2009, revenue of $1,137,268 and gross margin as a percentage of revenue of 56% were comparable to the same period in 2008.

Net loss and earnings per share: Net loss and comprehensive loss for the second quarter of 2009 was $981,600 compared to $661,083 for the same period last year. The basic and diluted loss per share for the second quarter of 2009 was $0.03 compared to $0.02 for the same period in 2008.

Cash position: Total cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments totaled $3,148,269 as at June 30, 2009. During the second quarter of 2009, the cash used by operating activities amounted to $725,993.
