IPERCEPTIONS ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT TO ADVISORY BOARD

Montreal, Canada — August 14, 2001 — iPerceptions announced today the appointment of Antonio
Ciampi Ph.D. to its Advisory Board.

Dr. Ciampi is an Associate Professor, Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics,
McGill University, Montreal Canada. His international experience includes research
in: Statistical Prediction, Decision Theory, Artificial Intelligence, and DataMining
(Trees and Neural Nets).

Among his post graduate degrees are a Masters in Applied Statistics (University
of Waterloo -Waterloo, Ontario), Ph.D. in Mathematics (Queens University- Kingston
Ontario) and a Doctorate in Physics (University of Rome- Rome, Italy).

Dr. Ciampi is active in societies, committees and international panels including
membership in the Statistical Society of Canada, the American Statistical Association
and, since 1993, an expert panelist of IDAMS, UNESCO.
